Job description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• The purpose is to provide practical work experience to students who have completed their degree.

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Taking, editing and uploading photo materials for the website, intranet, social media channels and publications
• Producing audio and video material for the website and social media channels (pre-production, recording and editing);
• Collaborate with the design team on the creation of brand assets and visual elements for various projects;
• Making basic website and intranet changes, uploading new content;
• Doing regular audit of the website, intranet to check information, suggest updates, and research ways to improve engagement;
• Providing branding support and ensure adherence to them across all channels ensuring brand compliance in Mintek events
• Keeping an updated branding equipment inventory list.

 
JOB KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience in video production; photography and editing
• Knowledge of editing software
• Knowledge of audio set up and editing
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies;
• Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite an advantage;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

•       A bachelor’s degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) degree in either Multimedia, Video Production, Brand or Design
•       Excellent academic record: 60% average
