    Brand Manager

    Our client, a leading health food retailer, is looking for a skilled wellness advocate to join their passionate brand team. This individual will be responsible for developing brand strategies.  The chosen candidate will be a team player, able to manage a design team and marketing coordinator, as well as work seamlessly with any external agencies and suppliers. Excellent project management skills with the ability to successfully execute key brand initiatives is a must. 


    • Represent the company and exude a passion for brand, and wellness industry as a whole.
    • Brand champion whilst ensuring brand integrity at all times.
    • Contribute to the annual brand planning process, driven by the marketing manager.
    • Set monthly brand activity calendar and work with the marketing coordinator to ensure cross-functional activities are executed across the department- seamlessly and timeously.
    • Help plan and implement successful seasonal brand campaigns as driven by the marketing manager and agency, across all marketing channels including digital.
    • Oversee brand events and activations as set up and executed by the marketing coordinator.
    • Support in executing year-round brand engagement through established (and growing) partnerships, loyalty scheme, ambassadorial programme, social media, activations and events, and other marketing initiatives.
    • Analyse loyalty data and other customer data in order to work with the marketing manager to drive the development of strategic and targeted brand communication through CRM.
    • Ensure all content generated is on brand and aligned with objectives, including content generated across social media platforms and mailers.
    • Work with the omnichannel team and marketing manager to ensure the online sales objectives are met through targeted campaigns and other initiatives.
    • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of, and success of, strategic projects and work closely with departments to ensure key brand objectives are met. 
    • Drive local store marketing initiatives, including a digital marketing approach, across stores with the assistance of the marketing coordinator.
    • Represent the company as required at store openings, activations and other brand events.
    • Provide necessary reporting to allow proper measurement of marketing activities and recommendations based on analysis of ongoing activity.
    • Perform other duties as necessary to support the objectives of division and company


    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
    • 5 years + experience in marketing, including digital marketing experience
    • 3-5 years general brand management experience
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word
