Business Continuity and Resilience Specialist at Ernst & Young Global Limited (EY)

The incumbent must have an in-depth understanding of business continuity management and governance frameworks, including emergency response and crisis management, strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and protocols, operational risk management, and IT practices. Specific expertise should include:

• Resilience practices and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of international BCM standards promoted by BCI, ISO, etc.
• A strong understanding of Operational risk and resilience, Business Process improvement
• methods as well as risk related control frameworks and practices
• Knowledge of IT and Operations Audit methodology
• Understanding of the Operational Risk Management methodology
• Assist clients in designing and implementing their identified management solutions
• Assist client in managing their Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programmes
• Account management framework methodologies.

The incumbent should also possess the following skills and experience:

• 2 to 5 years breadth of exposure in Business Continuity Management industry
• Reasonable depth of exposure/understanding of Business Continuity Management processes and best practices
• Experience in all key Business Continuity Management disciplines
• Experience in disaster recovery / IT Service Continuity
• Strong organisational skills
• Exceptional ability to remain calm under stress
• Excellent team skills, both as a leader and as a team player
• Strong project management skills and interpersonal skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation and reporting
• Highly developed relationship management, influencing and leadership skills
• Ability to be on-call and to occasionally work beyond normal business hours when required, in order to meet urgent client or EY requirements
• Be willing to travel as required
• Excellent client service delivery and ability to manage multiple engagement teams and projects
• Experience in coaching and supervising junior team members
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
