    Business Development Consultant

    • Matric 
    • Project Management, Diploma or equivalent
    • Mimimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in office and facilities management 
    • Computer literacy - Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook,  
    • PowerPoint at an advanced level (essential) 
    • Business understanding
    • BMS – Building Management System
    • CAFM – computer aided facilities management system
    • BCM

    Key performance areas 

    • Facilities service Management
    • Manage the daily delivery of activities related to Hard and Soft services
    • Optimise the life span of building and equipment through a maintenance program
    • Monitor statutory regulations, policies, procedures implementation and track adherence
    • Ensure procedures are in place to mitigate and implement corrective action w.r.t. legal compliance in respect of premises
    • Manage the planned maintenance activities 
    • Project manage all refurbishments, deferred projects and additions of buildings
    • Contractor Management
    • Finance
    •  Manage Budgets as per delegation
    •  Manage spend in line with forecast and provide input during budget cycle for cost centre
    • Events
    •   Arrange and provide assistance on events coordinated by the Pretoria events team.
    •   Building events must be arranged as part of the various committees within those premises.
    •   Responsibility lies with facilities manager to ensure all HSE and legislative requirements are brought under events team attention before such event proceeds.
    • Office management
    • Organise and manage daily planning in respect of key AFI diaries
    • Co-ordinate, schedule, and organize business and employee meetings
    • Take responsibilities in receiving calls, escalated complaints, and directing to the appropriate individuals. 
    • Perform other office-related duties as and when required
