    Business Development Manager (Technology)

    Description

    As a Business development manager at BlueSky Digital Solutions, you will be managing the expectations and developing business solutions for our enterprise clients. You will be tasked with creating effective business plans to generate more revenue, increase brand loyalty and improve customer satisfaction.

    Some of your duties will include:

    • Brainstorming with other teams in the business to define scopes of projects, review requirements and approve time frames
    • Work alongside other business units to oversee the progress of a project ensuring customer satisfaction
    • Manage client accounts and execute sales objectives
    • Complete research to evaluate products and competitor analysis to give BlueSky a competitive edge

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve revenue targets as set out by your line manager (drive annual contractive value (ACV))
    • Maintain good working relationships with existing clients to enhance client retention and drive new sales through referrals and references
    • Identify and develop new business leads
    • Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on customers in target markets
    • Key stakeholder and owner of client discovery sessions
      • Build agenda
      • Build internal team
      • Responsible for all pre-discovery (including sales deck)
      • Manage workshop cadence
      • Follow up post discovery
    • Proposal development post gathering of clients requirements
    • Identifying and targeting new customers
    • Develop and execute business development initiatives with aggressive targets
    • Identifies/qualifies/develops opportunities for selected business solutions
    • Grow, manage and maintain trust and strong business relationships with existing and new key accounts via personal visits, telephone calls, email contact and marketing campaigns with the marketing teams to ensure we are delivering on requirements
    • Build and maintain a large sales pipeline, with realistic goals and high success rates
    • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
    • Cold calling newly identified customers through phone, email and/or LinkedIn
    • Identify new sales channels and work with the team to tailor products to service new channels
    • Weekly and monthly reporting with clear objectives and goals

    Requirements

    • 5-8 years experience as a Business Development Manager/Sales Executive
    • Proven track record in sales
    • Technology market knowledge
    • Ability to chase new customers for the company
    • Take solution offering to the customer (existing & new) – develop new revenue offering
    • Advocate for the company & brand – good understanding of the solution we take to market
    • Obsessed with our technology in collaborating with our technology partners.
    • Engage with the broader BlueSky structure to help deliver on sales
