    Business Development Representative: Wholesale - Empangeni DC Snacks

    Responsibilities

    As part of  the Snacks, Food and Beverages business, the successful candidate will be responsible for: 

    • Achieving maximum Revenue profitability, volume growth and Channel penetration within a defined Wholesale customer base by effectively selling the company's products.
    • Establishing and maintaining contact strategy with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Building effective long lasting customer relationships.
    • Successfully executing promotional campaigns.
    • Improving in stock availability to achieve 95% service levels and support NPD speed to market excellence.
    • Implementing  EDGE principles in all stores (Every Day Great Execution).
    • Demonstrate an understanding of Make Move Sell 
    • Liaising with external merchandising services to achieve the most effective merchandising practices/principles.
    • Increase Market share%

    Qualifications

    • 3 year tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Commercial studies.
    • The ideal candidate should bring with them strong customer management, networking sales background and significant connections in sales Arena
    • Should have extensive FMCG experience, wholesale experience would be an advantage
    • Must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement.
    • Self-starter who is able to successfully work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Integrity, Intelligence, “I can do it” attitude.
    • Strong motivation for closing business and meeting sales targets.
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
    • Outstanding presentation skills required.
    • Experience with direct selling is preferred.
    • 5-7 years "current" experience in Sales/Business Development in the enterprise.
    • A deep understanding of marketing principles and great negotiation skills.
