Business Intelligence Analyst / ML Engineer (Salesforce/AWS) at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Store Development(AWS)
• Data Integration: AWS/Salesforce1
• Salesforce Expertise: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, FSC and Data Cloud to build and maintain data solutions
• Model Building: Develop and implement segmentation and other predictive models in Salesforce to optimize customer engagement, marketing campaigns, and client insights.
• Code Development: Write and maintain Python and SQL scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, and integration processes across AWS and Salesforce.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, marketing, and CRM stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Data Management: Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all platforms, working within the organization’s data architecture and security frameworks.
• Automation: Implement and enhance automation processes for data workflows between AWS and Salesforce.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Feature Stores: Proven experience in building, managing, and scaling feature stores, particularly within AWS environments.
• Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, and Data Cloud.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and process automation.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and SageMaker.
• Modeling Expertise: Ability to build segmentation models and other analytics solutions directly within Salesforce.
• Data Integration: Experience in integrating AWS with Salesforce, including building and maintaining data pipelines.
• AWS Experience: Strong knowledge of AWS architecture, data warehousing, and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in AWS and/or Salesforce
• Familiarity with Salesforce Datorama and Einstein Analytics.
• Data Analytics qualification or similar
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience implementing AI-driven solutions.
