Calibration Technician at Unique Personnel

Job Description    
Brief Description of the Position:

• Control and Calibrate, measuring and test equipment for head office and Branches
• Do maintenance and preventative maintenance and storage of all company equipment
• Keep and ensure the database and records are updated as per ISO 9001
• Conducting internal audits
• Control sub-contracted calibration function
• Review and update relevant calibration procedures
• Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures
• Assist fellow employees with daily calibration functions as and when required
• Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time

Inherent Requirements    
EDUCATION:        

• Matric / N3
• Metrology 1,2,3
• Internal Auditor Training

EXPERIENCE:      

• 3 Years in Metrology    
• 2 Years in Internal Auditing
• 3 - 5 years in a manufacturing role, responsible for calibrating and maintaining measuring equipment
• Experienced in Data Management and Analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer Literacy, including Microsoft Office 365
• QC Experience - Essential       
• Sound Knowledge of ISO 9001
