    Centralised Recruiter - Cape Town

    Job Description

    • We are looking for someone to work closely with the store operations areas to recruit top caliber staff for our store network across South Africa and the other African countries we operate in.

    Key Responsibilities    

    •  Identifying Talent within Truworths and finding suitable external talent for store based positions
    •  Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies
    •  Short listing applications
    •  Interviewing applicants for vacancies
    •  Credit and reference checks
    •  Sending feedback to the Area Manager, Regional Manager and Recruitment Team Leader
    •  Building relationships with Area Managers, Regional Managers and Store Managers
    •  Compiling motivations for appointing successful applicants
    •  Regretting unsuccessful applicants
    •  Team meetings and reporting on daily activities
    •  Project involvement – Extra activities
    •  Working closely with HRD Facilitators to ensure that the best talent is promoted within the organization.
    •  Inform applicants about facilities, operations, benefits and job or career opportunities in Truworths
    •  Maintain current knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and affirmative action guidelines and laws
    •  Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills
    •  Perform competency based interviews,
    •  Maintain the electronic files of candidates to meet the audit compliance as per Truworths requirements
    •  Ensure completion of all documentation as per the recruitment standards and processes.
    •  Liaise with the Remuneration team on employment package offers

    Qualifications and Experience    

    •  1-2 years bulk recruitment experience is essential
    •  Retail recruitment experience advantageous
    •  HR Qualification essential

    Competencies    

    •  Interviewing and recruiting skills
    •  Microsoft office suite skills
    •  Knowledge of Oracle iRecruit would be an advantage
    •  Good verbal and written communication skills
    •  Good negotiation skills
    •  Relationship management
