    Channel / Territory Manager CPT

    The Job:

    • Most Importantly, the suitable candidate should currently work in CPT with exposure to various channels within CPT.
    • The goal of the Channel or Territory  Manager is to be the preferred partner of our selected resellers.
    • This would require a partner and client experience that is without comparison in the marketplace.
    • A review of the existing product set and its reseller ‘readiness’ will be essential followed by a roadmap to achieving the level of enablement and market relevance that is required to be a leader in this space.
    • You will be responsible to Define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
    • Develop specified channel partnerships and relationships identified by the organization as a strategic go to market mechanism as well Forming, nurturing partnerships
    • To take full ownership of maximizing sales and product mix through this defined channel partner, Developing marketing strategy as well as Creating innovative solutions, products
    • To take full ownership of all channel activities with a view to ensuring product and sales are a preferred choice for the channel partner
    • To ensure that all channel orders are closely monitored and delivery in shortest possible timelines to maximize revenue
    • Act as an advisor that assists the sales force to set and keep to priority activities
    • Work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization.
    • Help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs

    Other Competencies/Attributes:

    • Proven client and partner engagement experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management
    • Proven experience in strategic engagement and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders within CPT
    • Business development experience

    Required Education / Qualifications:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, ICT or related qualification will be an advantage

    Required Experience

    • At least 8 years Sales, Territory Partner Management or Channel Management Exposure experience in account and channel; At least 5 years sales experience within the ICT industry with the proven successful track record
    • Working knowledge and experience selling complex technology solutions to large enterprise customers
    • Proven business development experience and ability to meet target
    • Proven client and partner engagement experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management
    • Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business
    • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generating of leads
    • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
    • The ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution against the agreed strategy
    • Assertive in approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise
