Chief Dietitian Grade 1 at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dietitian. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dietitian.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience as a dietitian after registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Practitioner.

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

• Expertise in the nutritional management of a variety of diagnoses, appropriate for an academic, multi-disciplinary hospital setting. Human resource management and supervisory experience. Good communication skills (both written and verbal). Must have teaching and presentation skills.
