Job Summary

Whilst the normal compliance, governance and financial management of the company will be the CFO’s responsibility, helped by a small but experienced accounting team, there is so much more to this leadership role. Some of these tasks will include investment management, forex hedging, reconciliation of complex mixed currency creditors accounts, CSI accountability, performance bond calculations, risk mitigation and significant external reporting. This role will expose you to key stakeholders and investor institutions, where you will be relied on to provide detailed submissions and present flawless audits.

Requirement

• Since the company is essentially running very high value contracts, we are looking for your skills in a contracts-based environment such as construction, infrastructure development, transport or engineering. With their eye firmly on transformation, preference will be given to African candidates who are Chartered Accountants and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience at a Senior Financial Manager level or higher.
