    Chief Financial Officer

    Success in this role necessitates not only technical expertise but also an unwavering commitment to developing talent and fostering consensus among stakeholders from varied backgrounds.

    • Provide visionary leadership in the digital transformation of financial operations by championing automation initiatives, integrating sophisticated cloud-based ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, and employing advanced analytics to facilitate scalable global activities.
    • Direct the formulation and execution of comprehensive financial strategies that are congruent with both domestic and international objectives, encompassing multi-jurisdictional fiscal policies, currency risk mitigation, and judicious capital allocation to enhance shareholder value.
    • Supervise enterprise-wide financial governance by ensuring meticulous adherence to international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), tax regulations, and statutory frameworks whilst proactively addressing legal and reputational risks.
    • Promote performance optimisation by aligning financial key performance indicators with overarching business objectives, utilising predictive analytics and artificial intelligence-driven insights to elevate profitability and operational excellence.
    • Design and institutionalise a robust global risk management framework that systematically identifies, quantifies, and mitigates financial, operational, geopolitical, and ESG-related risks across diverse markets.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the board and executive leadership by translating complex financial information into lucid insights that underpin corporate strategy, governance decisions, and sustainability endeavours.
    • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure prudent resource stewardship and informed investment decisions that secure the organisation’s enduring financial health.
    • Cultivate a culture of perpetual improvement within the finance function by encouraging intellectual curiosity and experimentation with emerging technologies to address organisational challenges.
    • Support the establishment of strategic direction through comprehensive analysis of systemic information pertaining to resources, market dynamics, organisational values, and evolving economic or regulatory landscapes.
    • Foster empowerment within the team by delegating authority beyond conventional boundaries to expedite outcomes and nurture individual potential.
    • A Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) accompanied by no fewer than ten years’ post-articles experience within commerce or industry is requisite for this appointment. Manufacturing experience will be desirable.
    • Thorough knowledge of financial reporting standards (including IFRS or GAAP) together with familiarity with pertinent regulatory requirements is essential.
    • Highly developed analytical capabilities are required for interpreting complex financial data into actionable insights that underpin strategic decision-making processes.
    • Exceptional communication skills coupled with refined interpersonal abilities are indispensable for effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
    • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional fiscal policies—including currency risk mitigation—and capital allocation is highly advantageous for optimising shareholder returns.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing enterprise-wide financial governance whilst proactively addressing legal or reputational risks is vital for this position.
    • A proven record in establishing global risk management frameworks that address financial, operational, geopolitical or ESG-related risks is considered beneficial.
    • Prior exposure to manufacturing or analogous industries would be advantageous given the operational context of this role.
    • Certification or practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred; however, an eagerness to acquire new technological proficiencies is equally valued.
    • The ability to foster a culture characterised by intellectual curiosity,actively seeking novel technological experiences and demonstrate adaptability during periods of transition is expected.
