Three (3) year National Diploma (NQF6)/Undergraduate Bachelor Degree (NQF7) in Human Resources Management/ Employment Relations/ Labour Relations/Labour Law/Bachelor of Law (LLB).
Two (2) years functional Administrative experience in Employment Relations. Knowledge: Public Service Commission's rules for dealing with complaints and grievance, Public Service Co-ordinating Bargaining Council's Resolutions, Research/ analysing, Public Service Regulations, Grievance and Disciplinary policy, Human Resources Management Policies, Dispute resolution, CCMA Policies and Procedures.
Skills: Problem solving, Negotiating, Presenting, Good Communication skills (oral and written), Research, Analytical, Computer literacy, Interpretation of legislation/ policies.
DUTIES:
Conduct and analyse all grievances and complaints received from employees in the Department. Draft charges and finalize all misconduct cases in the Department. Represent the Department in conciliation disputes referred to the General Public Service Sectoral Bargaining Council (GPSSBC) and the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
