    Claims Administrator: Inbound UK

    About the job
    Purpose of the Role

    • Responsible for managing inbound calls from UK customers relating to short term, warranty, minor body damage, Tyre and Alloy claims and claim related enquiries. 
    • Responsible for any administration relating to claims processing, intimating or enquiry. 
    • Responsible for managing claims queries raised by policyholders, business partners and internal stakeholders. 
    • Responsible for ad hoc outbound calls.

    Role Description

    • Responsible for managing all inbound telephonic calls received in a professional and efficient manner. 
    • Responsible for intimating claims correctly and accurately. 
    • Responsible for attaching all supporting documents to the claim system. 
    • Responsible to effectively manage e-mails and other correspondence received to facilitate effective claims processing. 
    • Responsible for contacting appropriate parties for outstanding documentation to process the claim. 
    • Responsible for confirming the status of the policy on the claim system. (i.e. the policy is active and premiums up to date). 
    • Pro-actively provide feedback to all relevant stakeholders. 
    • Pro-actively escalate all urgent issues and/or queries to the Claims Manager. 
    • Responsible to update the claims systems accurately to facilitate the quality and completeness of system data. 
    • Responsible for Ad hoc administrative tasks relating to Claims or Claims administration 
    • Responsible for incorporating the principles of TCF into role outcomes. 

    Education / Experience 

    • Matric.
    • 2 to 3 years’ previous, relevant work experience in customer services, a call centre or insurance administration is required.
    • Previous experience working in a Claims processing environment would be especially valuable, in particular Motor Vaps claims.
