Description

• To maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment by delivering effective cleaning and housekeeping services across the site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas.
• Clean offices, ablution facilities, change rooms and walkways.
• Sweep, mop, scrub floors and remove waste.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers and locker rooms.
• Wash windows, walls and other surfaces.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
• Maintain gardens, lawns and surrounding areas.
• Report unsafe conditions and maintenance requirements.
• Always maintain good housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety rules, site procedures and company standards.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 / or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

• 1–2 years' cleaning experience in an industrial/mining environment (advantageous).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass the mine's criminal screening process.
