    Client service advisor - Port Elizabeth

    What the day will look like

    As a Client Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for being the primary point of contact for clients.
    • Contribute to and provide input into the entire client life cycle, including renewals, endorsements and/or cancellation of policies.
    • Work with New Business Development Executives to generate and co-ordinate new business leads and assist with converting them into opportunities on Aon Connect.
    • Enable cross-selling opportunities (Delivering Aon United (DAU).
    • Work with Client Managers to ensure high quality, efficient and compliant delivery of all clients servicing administrative/transactional activities.
    • Provide clients with renewal notices.
    • Prepare Renewal Questionnaires’ (Needs Analysis) for clients and Broking Notes, Quotation Slips and Placing Slips for the Market.
    • Prepare renewal instruction forms, quotes, closing instructions and proposal forms for clients and/or insurers.
    • Collate client information and negotiate terms with the market.
    • Attend and contribute to internal and external client meetings.
    • Manage credit control as per credit control targets.
    • Responsible for assisting Client Manager with administering the Water Loss Outsource Agreement (Underwriting and claims).

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    Qualifications.

    • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Minimum NQF level 5 (Licentiate) mandatory or NQF 6 (Associate) (Insurance Qualification) will be advantageous.
    • Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act
    • RE5 Regulatory Certificate

    Knowledge.

    • Excellent knowledge of policy wordings
    • A comprehensive knowledge of the South African and international short-term insurance markets will be advantageous.
    • An in-depth strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals will be advantageous.
    • Computer literacy with advanced know-how in Microsoft 365.

    Skills and Attributes.

    • Advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities.
    • Ability to communicate successfully.
    • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in and with teams (team player).

    Experience.

    • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
