Collections BI Analyst at Dixie Recruitment

• Are you a data-driven BI professional with strong SQL skills and experience in debt collections?
• Our client is looking for a Collections BI Analyst to join their software solutions environment and play a key role in turning collections data into meaningful business insights.
• You'll work closely with the collections business, using SQL, Power BI and Excel to develop reporting and dashboards, analyse collections performance, improve debt segmentation, identify data quality issues and support data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain SQL reporting and BI solutions.
• Build performance dashboards using Power BI.
• Analyse collections data, KPIs and performance trends.
• Support debt segmentation and collections strategies.
• Manage, validate and reconcile data.
• Identify data quality and reporting issues.
• Assist with process automation and data-driven technology solutions.
• Develop audit trails and support SLA/compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Matric / NQF Level 4.
• Strong, hands-on SQL skills – essential.
• Strong Power BI and Excel skills.
• Approximately 3–5 years' debt collections experience in a similar data/reporting/BI environment.
• Understanding of collections processes, KPIs and best practices.
• Good database knowledge.
• Experience developing performance dashboards.
• Excalibur experience is advantageous but not essential.
• We're looking for someone who can genuinely work with SQL and navigate databases independently — not simply someone who has had exposure to SQL.
