    Commercial Property Manager: Business Development Manager

    Commercial Property Manager: Business Development Manager

    The Commercial Property Manager / BDM is a key position within the organisation; working closely with senior management, the individual will be primarily responsible for growing the business by developing relationships with suitable landlords and partners with prime locations. High level negotiations with potential clients will be required.

    Responsibilities and duties

    • Identifying private/public landlords and retail partners
    • Presenting company products and services to potential clients
    • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing partners and customers
    • Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
    • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who the decision makers are
    • Contacting potential clients via email and phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
    • Working closely with senior management to ensure high level of continuity throughout the core business
    • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
    • Preparing professional presentations and tender documents for submission to potential clients
    • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s service offering

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 8-10 Years’ experience gained within the Commercial Property Management is essential
    • Existing network of clients / contacts is essential!
    • Relevant Degree or Diploma is advantageous
    • Creative talents, innovative self- starter and the ability to negotiate and solve tough problems
    • The ability to find opportunities and network with decision makers
    • Attention to detail, commercially orientated
    • Excellent time management, organisation and presentation skills
    • Working knowledge of MDA is required
