Prepare food and provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to all the customers as per the set standards.
Produce all necessary food for all food service operations as required and as instructed by the senior Chef.
Maintaining quality and quantity control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of the product presented.
Plating and presenting meal items as per the seniors’ instructions as well as judging the quality of raw material & providing quality finished products.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.
Knowledge of basic food preparation and culinary techniques.
Ability to work well in a team - Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Excellent time management skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Food hygiene certification is desirable but not essential.
