Consultant: Skills Development and Employment Equity - Parktown at Hollard Insurance

Role Objective:

The Consultant supports the Skills, EE and Manager with reporting, data analytics and Seta/ QCTO- related duties so that leaders at Hollard are supported in ensuring that they have the right skills, at the right time so that the company can meet its business goals

Relevant legislative reporting

• Render support in compiling of all legislative reports, e.g. Work Place Skills Planning (WSP), annual training report (ATR), Employment Equity report, etc.
• Prepare the Employment Equity and Skills Development audit samples for submission to the BBBEE verification agency
• Help manager prepare and submit applications for discretionary grants

Analytics

• Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources (Sage, LMS, etc.)
• Analyses data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to Employment Equity & Skills Development.
• Designs and integrates the data in meaningful visualizations/dashboards to empower data-supported decision-making
• Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key metrics.
• Stay abreast of latest research related employment equity and learning/ skills development analytics.
• Participates in Special Projects & development of analyses
• Conduct audits to ensue adherence to relevant frameworks and policies
• Ensure compliance with relevant privacy regulations and best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

Secondary SDF:

Submit and track funding applications with the INSETA

• Support the SDF in the preparation and communication of the Workplace Skills Plan and the Annual Training reports
• Collect , compile and complete all required administration for internship and learnership programmes
• Collect , compile and complete all required administration for candidacy and bursary grants
• Monitor and follow-up on the payment of outstanding grants with the INSETA

Required Knowledge and Experience

Educational Requirements

• SDF related accreditation
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate analytical discipline or post-graduation certification in a field related to data visualization, business analysis, decision support or predictive analytics
