    Coordinator: Company Secretarial Department

    Purpose Statement

    Manage and take full accountability for the administration for the Company Secretarial Department

    To coordinate and assume end-to-end responsibility for the administrative support that will enable the effective functioning of the Company Secretarial Department

    • Oversee the efficient administration of and compliance within Company Secretariate regulations, guidelines and requirements.
    • Ensure that procedures are followed by stakeholders and regularly reviewed.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • At least 5 yrs experience in a company secretarial administrator / executive personal assistant capacity.
    • Experience in dealing and communicating effectively with various stakeholders (including the Board and Executive Committees)
    • Proven experience in driving and coordinating deliverables through others. 
    • Proven experience in operational execution when under pressure
    • Experience working in:
    • A complex and/or large organisation.
    • Fast moving, agile environment.

    Ideal:

    • Experience in a banking/financial environment
    • Paralegal experience advantageous
    • Experience in working with basic software packages and systems
    • Experience in working with an office management systems (SAP and Diligent System preferred)

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Certification in Office Management and Technology / Office Administration or Business Administration

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Office Management and Technology / Office Administration or Business Administration

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Understanding relevant legislative / regulatory frameworks
    • Organisational and administrative tools, methodologies, systems and practices
    • Understanding of Payment processes and general logistical processes and systems

    Ideal:

    • Corporate / legal / governance / statutory structures relating to a Company in South Africa
    • Requirements and policies of the CIPC and relevant statutory bodies
    • Knowledge of Capitec Bank related policies
    • Basic software packages and systems
