    Country Lead: Revenue Growth Management

    Job Description    

    • Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Country Lead: Revenue Growth Management to join the Revenue Growth team at CCBSA. The role will report to the Director of Revenue Growth Management.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Revenue Growth Strategy Development: Lead the creation and implementation of CCBSA’s Revenue Growth Management strategy, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term business objectives. Deliver measurable top-line growth through a disciplined strategic framework.
    • Pricing & Revenue Policy Implementation: Collaborate with CCBA and Monster to develop and execute pricing and revenue policies that support sustainable growth. Ensure effective implementation that achieves targeted revenue outcomes.
    • Market Opportunity Identification & Execution: Identify and activate profitable revenue growth initiatives such as new product launches, pricing strategies, and portfolio optimizations. Deliver year-over-year revenue growth of 5–10% through these focused interventions.
    • Global Benchmarking & Best Practice Integration: Represent CCBSA in global revenue growth forums and benchmarking exercises. Translate best-in-class global practices into locally relevant strategies that enhance revenue performance.
    • Cross-Functional Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing Revenue Growth Management team. Develop structured training programs to strengthen capability, enhance performance, and ensure long-term talent retention.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion the use of big data analytics and advanced IT systems to drive insight-led revenue strategies. Ensure that 90% of decisions are grounded in robust data analysis and predictive modeling.
    • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Engage senior leadership and key commercial stakeholders with clear, insight-driven recommendations. Influence strategic direction through compelling business cases and aligned execution roadmaps.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration (Finance, M&T, Sales, Key Account, Trade Marketing, Logistics): Foster seamless collaboration across Finance, Marketing & Trade, Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing, and Logistics. Enable end-to-end integration of revenue initiatives across the value chain to ensure cohesive execution.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Education

    • University Degree (BCom) required, post-graduate qualification preferred.

    Experience

    • 6-8  years of relevant experience.
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing revenue growth strategies.
    • Strong background in pricing, market research, and business strategy, particularly within the beverage industry.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.

    Skills

    • Pricing and Revenue Management Expertise: Deep understanding of pricing models, revenue optimization strategies, and their application to drive top-line growth.
    • Data Analytics & Insights: Proficiency in using data to drive decision-making, identifying trends, and leveraging insights to optimize pricing and growth strategies.
    • Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong ability to lead and collaborate across sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and execution of revenue initiatives.
    • Market & Competitive Analysis: In-depth understanding of the South African beverage market, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
    • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Excellent skills in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions at both local and global levels.
    • Innovation & Business Development: Ability to identify new business opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and drive profitable growth through market-leading initiatives.
    • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Capability to mentor, manage, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
