As a Customer Account Manager, you’ll be the key point of contact for customers in the South Africa market, leading the Service Department to achieve objectives and deliver best-in-class performance.
You’ll take ownership of customer communication, manage claims and reports, and ensure that all customer sites operate according to company procedures.
Your role will involve strategic and tactical ownership of customers throughout the sales and after-sales phases, handling customer requests and claims, and serving as a point of escalation.
Additionally, you’ll engage in negotiations, develop account targets, and identify partnership opportunities.
You will play a crucial role in improving performance and reliability data feedback from customer facilities and contribute to the flawless execution of handovers between project phases.
What you’ll need
To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in customer management ideally with in the wind energy or Solar Energy Industry. Some Bachelors degree, either in Engineering, Commericial, Business or Law.
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and address customer business strategies and challenges.
Your technical experience and teamwork competence will be essential, along with good judgment, decision-making skills, and a focus on client satisfaction.
A willingness to travel, including nights away from home, is crucial, as well as the ability to share knowledge and experience.
