    Customer Liaison Support Officer

     

    What the role entails

    • Offer information on USB's academic programmes to prospective students and provide support during the application process;
    • Develop understanding of USB's academic programmes and be comfortable to present this to prospective students.

    Duties

    • Responding to programme related enquiries on social media;
    • Managing and responding in a timeous manner to enquiries on various programme email mailboxes; 
    • Facilitating sales conversations with walk-in traffic;
    • Playing an active role during campus information sessions;
    • Proactively communicating (by phone, mail and CRM) with applications;
    • Providing general assistance in the marketing department as and when it is required;
    • Preparing sales reports;
    • Nurturing prospective students from enquiry to registered status.

    Job Requirements

    • A relevant B. Degree or a National Diploma in Marketing / Business Management;
    • Minimum of five years experience in a Sales / Customer service role;
    • Proven ability to take initiative and to make independent judgements in performing tasks;
    • The delivery of outputs that comply with the highest quality standards;
    • Professional conduct and a professional appearance;
    • Persuasive communicator;
    • Social media knowledge on various portals;
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft (CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
    • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and methodical;
    • Good interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to act with empathy and patience;
    • A strong customer service orientation;
    • A pro-active outlook;
    • The ability to function in a multilingual environment;
    • The willingness to work after hours if necessary.
