    Customer Service Representative

    Key Accountabilities
    Your job description includes but is not limited to:

    • Expedite Aftermarket orders that are due for delivery and ensure parts and materials due are within the timeframe to achieve on-time delivery
    • Maintain spreadsheet with order status updates for all Aftermarket open orders.
    • Assist with loading sales orders and overflow quotations for spares parts as required
    • Drive on time delivery of the spare parts / components and refurbishments
    • Follow all internal process as are required by your role to follow, offering suggestions of improvements where possible.
    • Develop close partnerships with clients to gain repeat business and expand existing business.
    • Engage and develop relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure our customers’ expectations are met and/or exceeded.
    • Ensure that all regular reports are completed on time and circulated appropriately.
    • Resolve customer enquiries relating to the Aftermarket department orders, past and present and respond to “Open Order Lists” enquiries from buyers and end-users timeously.
    • Flexibility to cover other team members job roles when required.
    • Promote a strong customer service focus with colleagues within the Sandvik organization.

    Mobility

    • Minimum travelling will be required and will be communicated prior.

    • Matric & any post matric qualification

    Skills & Experience

    • Negotiation and influencing skills.
    • High attention to detail
    • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
    • The ability to work autonomously and display problem solving skills.
    • Excellent Customer Service skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Demonstration of organized multi-tasking skills
    • Passionate attitude regarding building strong, effective, long-term relationships with customers

    Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

    • The BU views this role as a provider of high-quality customer service, relevant solutions and building effective relationships
    • On time delivery as per customer requirements
    • Ensure when required to assist with quotes to customers, it’s presented in line with customers demand/expectations and times.
    • Orders to be loaded timeously and accurately.
    • Efficient and timely feedback of order status/change to customers
