Serve as a contact point for the customer service and landside transportation teams regarding special instructions or issues related to detained containers
Contact point with depots where containers will move to Import Authority and EDI Stops:
Handle the receipt and distribution to customers of all authority stops for Imports and exports
Advise the internal parties (CSA and Landside Transportation) of the stop
Update the required systems
Handle all stop related calls from customers and authorities
Resolve queries received from authorities
Develop a relationship with key authority stakeholders
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs stops and a strong background in shipping line operations.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Problem-solving abilities to address complex issues related to detained containers.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with customer service and landside transportation teams.
In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected situations.
Customer-focused approach to ensure excellent service delivery.
