Debtors Clerk at Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd

Purpose:

• To collect due receivables and reconcile site accounts.

Responsibilities:

• POD’s / Claims
• Statement of account
• Customer queries
• Customer database
• Customer deductions
• Customer facilities and terms
• Review and validation of costs
• Safeguarding of all company financial documentation

Qualification Requirements    

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Accounting qualification will be an advantage

Experience Requirements    

• 3-5 Years credit control experience.
• FMCG experience an advantage.

Working Conditions    

• Extra work hours required at month end, financial year-end and at management discretion.
• Successful candidate must be able to step into other roles e.g. cashier role, if staff absent from work.
• Some positions based in warehouse or bakery – could be noisy and crowded.
• Depending on the structure at the site, the successful candidate may be required to supervise other roles.
• Pressurised environment
