    Marketing Graduate

    What will you be doing?

    • Involvement in the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated campaigns and project management assistance for product innovation targeting multiple audiences.
    • To help measure and celebrate our TTL impact by collecting data, compiling case studies and producing reports. To work effectively as part of various teams, applying Premier’s approach and values.
    • Work as part of a team helping coordinate and organise work and execute activities in a timely and efficient way.
    • Integrate with the marketing as well as the broader sales, finance and operations (factory) teams to actively build relationships and drive key initiatives / projects forward with a stakeholder management approach.
    • Supporting the Premier team with general administrative duties including (but not exclusively) managing budgets, reconciling and managing invoices, market share and brand health tracking, marketing stock management, product catalogue maintenance, customer and trade monitoring, maintain brand history record, participating and taking minutes in meetings, reviewing mailboxes on a regular basis, responding to requests by email and telephone, acting as a point of contact for enquiries and implementing new processes.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or Advertising. A post-graduate specialisation in Marketing is preferable.

    Experience Requirements    

    • No work experience is required.
    • Ad hoc roles or internships while studying will count in your favour.

    Sales Assistant

    Job Description    

    • Assist the Driver/Salesman in daily delivery of Premier products and where applicable assist the Driver/Salesman in cash and tray collection.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Check company products as per loading sheet and sign
    • Adhering to standard departure times
    • Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene
    • Collect cash from the customers and cash in daily (where applicable)
    • Offloading of product at customers
    • Report all accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager.
    • Assist driver with Truck reversing as per company SOP

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Grade 12 or equivalent

    Experience Requirements    

    • Code 10 driver’s license and PDP (advantageous)
    • 1-2 Years’ experience FMCG industry (advantages)

    Manager Operational Finance -Middelburg

    Main Objectives

    • To manage the site finance department to provide business focussed management accounting, budgeting, reporting and business advice and service to the site management team. To analyse and report key financial data within his/her area of responsibility, ensuring that relevant parties receive timely and accurate information.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To ensure operational and financial excellence by managing and overseeing the financial accounting and control function for the site and its related depots in the allocated area of responsibility.
    • To ensure compliance to financial policies and SOP’s through the implementation and optimisation of operational financial controls for the site. In addition to this auditing and coaching the relevant depot accountants to ensure the same controls are on their sites.
    • To support timeous and correct management decision making site performance management through producing site financial plan, budgets, balance sheet reconciliations and reports as required.
    • To supervise, direct and review the work of the site accountant and Admin staff on site in line with the requirements of the leadership promise and Premier way and establish a high-performance culture in the function.
    • To ensure asset management processes are implemented and maintained to manage stock, accurately to prevent theft.
    • To support cost effective manufacturing by providing deviations reports and identifying waste elimination opportunities.
    • To provide support with compilation of capex applications as and when required
    • To collate site and associated depot reports as and needed for intercompany balancing. To improve the quality of the reporting by providing feedback, advice and coaching to the associated depot accountants as needed for corrective action and continuous improvement.

    Production Supervisor

    Job Description    

    • Supervise the production shift team responsible to manufacture confectionary goods to the desired quality specifications, on time and in full within the required costs as per the production plan, also maintaining the production equipment.

    Ensure optimal confectionery production process efficiencies and effectiveness by:

    • Ensuring production on time and in full as per plan and quality specifications
    • Coordinating shift production team and other areas in the confectionery supply chain to ensure optimal production and timeous delivery.
    • Supporting the maintenance department by co-ordinating autonomous maintenance and housekeeping during the shift as per maintenance plans
    • Recording all relevant production process KPI’s and information in order to provide cull and accurate post shift hand over to the production manager.

    To ensure confectionery process delivers consistent high-quality products within specifications in collaboration with the maintenance manager by: Ensuring adherence to production process parameters.

    • Identifying exceptions and variations in process and correct in process and correct.
    • Identifying exceptions and variations in equipment and report these to the maintenance manager to correct.
    • Support route cause analysis when needed to address and correct.
    • Follow up and check that problem has been addressed and that production process is back within parameters.
    • Driving a quality mindset within production in collaboration with the quality control department in dealing with non-conforming products or customer complaints and collaborating on ways to improve quality.
    • Ensure all production process control documentation is completed and controlled as per SOP for recall & traceability purposes.

    Ensure high performance production shift team by: Adequate resourcing for each shift and managing absenteeism and leave rosters for the team

    • Guiding and assisting team to meet their targets through regular coaching, assistance, and on-the-job training of employees
    • Conducting INVOCOMs and ensures that records are kept and shared across the team and that action plans agreed to within INVOCOMs are delivered upon.

    To ensure full statutory compliance to all health and safety and food safety requirements in line with Premier standards and SOP’s by ensuring training of relevant persons, observation, coaching and assessment of SOPs as per requirements and team educational plan.

    Driving continuous improvement of confectionery production processes by:

    • actioning team improvement suggestions or reporting them to the relevant managers to investigate for implementations
    • continuously monitoring daily WIP

    Support continuous operations and optimal working conditions by Liasing with other HOD’s and supervisors as needed to maintain operations

    • Getting support to address team issues and resolve problems reported
    • Reporting continuous improvement ideas appropriately
