    Digital Content Specialist

    What you'll be doing

    Website & Landing Page Content Curation & Management

    • Craft enticing, SEO compliant, and effective web copy, website pages, landing pages, and microsites.
    • Website copy and visibility is maintained or improved continuously through critical reviews of existing copy and the monitoring of website traffic and page rank. Ensures marketing team has a grasp of the company’s top keywords and ensures the website copy and any meta data are optimised yet appealing to read.
    • Write copy for the web and/or editing content from other writers. It also includes collaborating with cross-departmental teams to receive their input on that copy, and it may include reaching out to customers or other focus groups to figure out what entices them to visit our site.
    • Excellent copywriting and web experience required
    • Development, execution, implementation, and optimisation of digital strategies that result in improved website conversions, community engagement and brand awareness.

    Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

    • Own the SEO component for the team and be the expert in tracking, guiding, and optimising our search strategy across multiple countries
    • Monitors and works on the improvement of the marketing website’s search engine visibility and rank through search engine marketing and optimization efforts.
    • Work closely with Digital Content Team to optimise digital content to help it rank higher in search engine results.

    Understand and prioritize web development for web design, UX, and SEO purposes.

    • Provide insight into web design principals and trends and consistently look at ways to improve user experience, journey flow, and site speed.
    • Lead A/B testing of landing pages for campaigns and optimize page load speeds.

    Web management

    • Work closely with website developers and DevOps team to develop new and current websites that convert and highlight the brand in a visually appealing, modern, and effective way.
    • Ensure all WordPress settings and plugins, as well as integrations such as website/ZoHo integration and website/gravity forms integration are implemented effectively.
    • Identifying trends, new opportunities, threats, and environmental influences to ensure the best user experience.
    • Keep conversion optimisation, site speed, and mobile-first all ways top of mind. This includes redeveloping existing assets and pages, researching and integrating plugins, and project managing custom development on the website to meet the marketing team's goals.
    • Website under your span of control include the DPO Group Website, DPO Card, and other new website projects.
    • Ensure up to date maintenance of current websites by keeping plugins and WordPress updated.
    • Ensure regular backups and ensure security is front of mind and locked down at all points.

    Regular Deployment Planning for websites upgrades

    • Work closely with website developers to minimise website downtime and be first on call to monitor if any issues arise and pull in necessary stakeholders to fix.
    • Collaborate with the website developers, DevOps & Infra teams to ensure smooth deployment of any website changes.
    • Keep an accurate change log at all times, and QA all website changes and deployments display and work correctly.

    Research

    • Conduct research to find the innovative ways to communicate with our audience and potential merchants.
    • Be able to find the right information and be able to interpret it to create an engaging digital landscape for our audience.
    • Liaise with Product Teams about the latest products and services to create content that will help the sales and marketing teams position them well to the public.

    Reporting

    • Regular analysis and report of website traffic, sources, sitespeed etc.
    • Market research, competitor analysis and keeping abreast of trends and market changes

    What you'll need

    • 5 Years' Experience in Digital Marketing
    • 3 Years’ Experience in Website Management
    • Excellent communication and copywriting skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong technical skills relating to web development, landing pages, SEO and digital marketing best practices
    • High attention to detail
