Director : Commercial at Sheldon Recruitment

• We are seeking a Director : Commercial, for a permanent role based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Minimum Degree in Marketing / Sales / Technical; Preferred: MBA
• 10+ years in Sales & Marketing with 3+ years at a senior leadership role (managing team leaders)
• Code 8 drivers license and willing to travel regularly locally and internationally on occasion

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Business ethics – social responsibility and data protection
• Timely management – oversee the timely procurement of finished goods
• Technical division – oversee the management of all technical teams
• Team leadership – manage goal setting; manage performance aspects of direct reports and assist with career planning, mentoring and coaching
• Market share – asset market potential; develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth
• Customer first approach – deal with customer complaints by liaising with the departments responsible for and ensure prompt handling thereof
• Distributor & Dealer Network Management – interact with distributors and dealers in all markets / divisions; monthly / quarterly meetings
• Market analytics – maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price; analyse trends and results, pricing and new product performance
• Executive – report on KPI’s; prepare and attend key executive meetings
• Product launches
