Distribution Manager at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet delivery targets.
• Supervise and lead distribution teams, providing direction and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transport, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain best practices across distribution channels.
• Manage inventory control and ensure accurate record-keeping and stock tracking.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies aligned with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs to track performance and report progress to senior management.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Distribution Manager or in a similar logistics leadership role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in distribution management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
