DTP Specialist - Cape Town at Truworths

• We have an exciting opportunity available for a DTP Specialist to join our Marketing Department.

This position is based at our Head Office in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities    

• Design work – designs of promos, packaging , in-store signage, presentations, process and journey maps;
• Final artwork – Branding elements and packaging, In-store material, PPC Banners, Logos;
• Filing and ongoing maintenance of the server housing design elements, continuous updating of brand manuals;
• Operating an external cloud – uploading, downloading, folder system, maintenance;
• Retouching – retouching of fashion campaigns, in-store material, digital and commerce elements.

Qualifications and Experience    

• Graphic design degree required – Graphic design or Graphic communications;
• Minimum of 5 years DTP experience with 3-5 years retouching experience;
• Excellent technical skills on Apple Mac Equipment and a good understanding of desktops PC’s;
• Advanced technical skills with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop, Word, Excel;
• Understanding of XD;
• Artistic and creative with an eye for good design and a love for fashion;
• Good understanding of servers, external clouds, meticulous filing;
• Graphic Design experience with excellent layout skills.
