    EAME eCommerce / Digital Growth Consultant

    We have an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce / Digital Growth Consultant who will be responsible to drive the achievement of the EAME eCommerce business plan for Parts.Cat.com (PCC), Cat Integrated Procurement (Cat IP) and Cat Central/PCC Mobile in support of the Services Growth Strategy.

    This role is accountable to drive eCommerce growth in EAME region (mainly Europe and West Africa) and the deployment of key functionalities in PCC through Global Dealer Standards (GDS) enablement.

    The role requires strategic understanding of EAME dealer Digital capabilities to determine how eCommerce can be best utilized to drive value to support Caterpillar Services Growth Strategy.

    This position is within the EAME DSD Digital Operations group.

    JOB RESPONSABILITIES:

    • Achieving EAME eCommerce growth targets: Online Sales, Activation of Online Customers, Retention, and GDS capabilities completion.
    • Developing eCommerce growth plans by dealer to achieve eCommerce dealer targets in collaboration with District Offices, Cat Digital, and the Industries.
    • Co-leading monthly governance reviews with District Office Digital representatives to ensure the execution of the eCommerce growth plan.
    • Engaging with various levels of the dealer and Caterpillar internal partners to understand the dealer capabilities needed to achieve eCommerce targets successfully.
    • Ensuring dealers understand the value of eCommerce within the Cat Digital ecosystem through appropriate engagement with dealership and Caterpillar internal partners.
    • Leading the deployment of eCommerce Global Dealer Standards (GDS) to ensure dealers’ eCommerce sites have key functionalities in place, such as order tracking, order history, API response time, e-site availability, and returns policies.
    • Training dealers and customers on eCommerce solutions, including PCC and Cat IP demos.
    • Supporting dealers and the industries in promoting Cat Integrated Procurement (IP) and identifying prospective customers.
    • Monitoring customers’ Cat IP utilization.
    • Collaborating with the industries to ensure dealers have eCommerce commercial plans to support customer activation. (i.e. promotions, retention plans)

    QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • University degree in Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Good understanding of the Digital Operations environment, with eCommerce or Digital transformation experience. Successful track record of leading eCommerce growth and Digital deployment initiatives, especially in B2B industries.
    • Proficiency in English and French is a plus.
    • Extensive experience in project management, process improvement, and driving change.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation proficiency and a demonstrated ability to earn trust and drive change with all hierarchy level, including senior management teams.
    • Strong ability to adapt quickly to high velocity and change.
    • Previous field-based assignments in distributor development or experience working with dealers.
    • Self-starter, able to work autonomously and in teams.

    • Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
