Electrician at CFW Fans

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and components for HVAC systems and engineering projects.
• Liaise with customers to ensure clear communication regarding service issues and resolutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Draw, read, and understand electrical schematics.
• Install and program Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians and engineers on integrated system installations.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of systems.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Qualified/Trade tested Electrician (Red Seal)
• Proven experience work experience post trade test
• Experience in engineering field either HVAC / ventilation / fans or applications is advantageous
• Drivers license essential
