What We’re Looking For:
Our Email Specialist is responsible for the optimisation of the marketing emails. This entails adapting the emails, tactics and strategy both within and outside of marketing to improve the customer experience. The Email Specialist has to stay up to date with the latest email trends and will make use of their expert knowledge and work with members within marketing, creative studios and other departments sending emails to mitigate risks, test opportunities, optimise and improve emails. Critical to this role is a good understanding of Email Service Providers and Email Clients.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Optimise design, layout and other technical aspects of emails through testing and enhancing emails.
Make use of in depth email and system knowledge for assistance, quality assurance and risk mitigation in all other departments making use of email software.
Execute and report on standard and ad hoc email campaigns, within and outside of the marketing division.
Train the email team on email best practices, and onboard and train new team members of other departments making use of the email software.
Stay up to date with the latest email trends, and look for and test opportunities to improve emails.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant marketing qualification preferred
2 - 3 years’ experience deploying, developing and optimizing email campaigns
Proven execution & understanding of email best practices
Familiar with A/B testing best practices
Good knowledge of HTML
