Customer Support: Provide process and technical assistance to customers while including the Weir product portfolio. Collaborate effectively with both internal and external sales teams, as well as engaging directly with customers.
Provide Technical Solutions: Conduct field visits to gather data, measure, sample customer processes, and compile information to formulate and deliver technical solutions to customers.
Cross-departmental Support: Provide process technical support to internal teams such as Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, and assist other designers and engineers by providing guidance and feedback
Design Research: Research new and existing designs and product structures as reference materials for developing customer solutions. Proficient in developing and evaluating mineral processing operations, flowsheets, and associated systems/equipment.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering degree
3 – 5 years of mineral processing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
