    Entrepreneurial Recruiter and Office Administrator

    What does this role do?

    • The Beacon Walk-in Assistant (BWA) creates a positive experience for all community members who make use of the Walk-in Centre and its amenities. The BWA is a professional brand representative of both Raizcorp and the Principal(s) who sponsor the Centre and often the first individual visitors and members of the public deal with. The BWA always pro-actively and positively builds a world-class experience for all visitors to the Centre.

    Duties include BUT NOT LIMITED:

    • Operating the walk-in centre’s reception desk and maintenance of the walk-in centre diary.
    • Facilitating information sessions on procurement and business funding processes.
    • Assisting and supporting visitors with supply chain management processes.
    • Assisting and supporting visitors with supplier portal and all processes and procedures involved in the supplier processes.
    • Professionally handling all incoming calls, e-mail queries, mail and other correspondence received by the Centre and distributing it to the required stakeholders.
    • Assisting the Office Administrator in preparing for; setting up and taking down all learning rooms in line with the prescribed processes and to the requisite standards.
    • Supporting, where required, the Raizcorp Supplier Development Manager with all requests, supplier engagement sessions, simulations etc.
    • Working closely with the Beacon Manager and Office Administrator in the smooth and effective running of the Centre
    • Ensuring that any technical issues in the operational running of the centre are appropriately escalated, tended to, and resolved with urgency. Supporting the Beacon Manager with all operational issues
    • Assisting the Beacon Manager with overseeing the planning and execution of business events, especially managing the Walk-in Centre while events are taking place.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Minimum Grade 12 level qualification required.
    • A tertiary level qualification in administration / office support preferable.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative support function would be ideal.
    • Experience doing group facilitation required.
    • Must be fluent in the language of the communities in which the project(s) are run (and ideally, other languages spoken by communities around the Lephalale area).
    • Experience as a frontline receptionist / walk-in administrator vital.
    • Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement/ Tender Administration would be advantageous.
    • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
    • Computer literate (intermediate level on Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential.)
    • Previous experience in servicing clients and various stakeholders.
