As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the security, maintenance and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organisation and its employees.
Minimum Requirements
Senior Certificate or tertiary qualification
Have experience in managing a team of people
Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principals and good analytical skills
Be reliable and responsible
Be able to negotiate with contractors for better rates
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Facilities Management in a Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment will be beneficial
Strong technical background
Proficiency in a CMMS and Microsoft Office
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform Operations management function - Manage the team to execute FM service according to the SLA
Execute System and Quality management - Ensure all services are deliverd to agreed quality standards
Managementof Contractor and Serivce providers - Manage contractors and suppliers to deliver supplementary services
Financial and budget control - Manage clients FM budget by controlling costs against budget
Provide Health, Safety and Risk Management - Ensure clients risks are managed proactively
Execute Focused Improvement initiatives - Manage the team to add value through Focused Improvement initiatives
Perform Business Management - Managed internal processes and staff according to Pragma standards
Have formal monthly meetings with client(s) to discuss reports, contractors and issues
Compile and analyse monthly report
Liaise with the clients to ensure business operations are not affected or disrupted
Effective communication lines and relationships with the clients on site
