As a Graduate you will be exposed to the following:
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
- CAD surface designing on clothing, footwear and homewares, which includes placement prints and all-over repeat prints
- Editing existing designs and creating new designs
- Packaging and labelling design
- Researching and presenting of new trends to the buying teams, which include key fabrics, shapes, colours and print direction
- Co-ordinating of key looks and themes for upcoming seasons
- Compiling of colour palettes
- Providing inputs during range reviews, post mortems and product days
- Regular store visits
- Maintaining artwork library
- Assisting buyers with general queries
Requirements
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Be in possession of a Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Fashion Design , Clothing Production, Textile Design Surface Design , Graphic Design
- 65% average
- South African Citizen
- 18 - 33 Years Old
- 0 - 1 year working experience
- Willingness to travel
- Driver’s licence (advantageous)
- Intermediate level of computer skills (Google Suite or Microsoft Office)
- Competencies required: interpersonal skills, detail orientated, assertive, driven, excellent communication and time management skills, good presentation skills, team player, can cope with periods of high stress and take initiative
