Field Assistant- Fixed Term Contract at South African National Parks (SANParks)

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4.
• Code 08 driver’s license.
• Computer Literacy in MS Office.
• 2 years’ experience with contracting teams/management of personnel.
• Experience in health and safety management and compliance.
• Experience in soil/land rehabilitation techniques is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project related planning.
• Assist with the management and mentoring of EPWP contractors.
• Ensure the management of quality, production and monitoring of task-based operations linked to the project.
• Ensure compliance to program standards/norms and Health and Safety requirements.
• Assist with mapping and data recording for the project linked to activities.
• Report on project progress.
• Communicate and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
