Finance Analyst - Cape Town at Juru Holdings

Duties and Responsibilities: 
Data Governance

• An understanding of data security, data retention, data quality and data migration methodology.
• Ability to implement a data migration plan (HFM to One Stream).
• Contributes to data analysis/design of the One Stream collector forms.

Technical accounting

• An advanced understanding of IFRS statements.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• An understanding of Meta and Master accounting data.
• Exposure to preparing IFRS annual financial statements.

Reporting

• Providing support to IT developers and business stakeholders regarding the build and delivery of the new Once Stream Consolidated Chart of Accounts.
• Implements changes to the supplementary disclosures within the One Stream
• Consolidated Chart of Accounts.

Personal Effectiveness

• Accountable for service delivery through own efforts
• Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.
• Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.
• Collaborates effectively with others to achieve goals.

Requirements

• B.Com. Finance/Accounting Honours
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum 3 years post article experience.
• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience in the Financial Services sector.
• Experience in producing consolidated Annual Financial Statements for a financial services company.
• Experience with Oracle Smart View / HFM Webform / One Stream Web form.
• Knowledge, exposure and understanding of data analysis and data solution design.
• Knowledge, exposure and understanding of data bases and master data.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
