Finance Manager : PPB Segment at Standard Bank Group

Qualifications

• Degree in  Finance / Accounting
• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) / CA SA is essential

Experience Required

• 5-7 years Experience in a financial or management accounting role.
• Proven experience in financial modeling and Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, etc.)
• Solid understanding of management accounting principles
• Comfortable navigating manual workflows and improving them
• Strong analytical mindset with a knack for connecting dots across processes
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with data analysis tools or BI platforms is a plus
• Experience in in Powerpoint and Excel essential

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize financial models using advanced Excel techniques
• Support management accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify and connect process touchpoints to improve workflow efficiency and data accuracy
• Work with manual processes, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining
• Collaborate across departments to ensure financial insights are aligned with business goals
• Interpret and analyze data to support strategic decision-making
