Financial Accountant at Robert Walters

• My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. This role is crucial in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Accounting Function (A-Z):

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.

Project Accounting:

• Monitor and report on project budgets and expenditures.
• Track project costs and revenues, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support.
• Prepare project financial reports and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with project accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
