• We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager – Operational Finance to join our team.
• This critical role supports the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing working capital, maintaining financial records, and driving compliance with financial standards and procedures.

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Operational Finance role
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and relevant financial regulations
• Must be willing and able to travel frequently across African countries

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Manage the full Operational Finance function, including month-end close processes and financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor and manage working capital (cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable)
• Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording and depreciation
• Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures
• Compile and present financial reports and board packs to senior management
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and assist in the implementation of new financial reporting standards
