Financial Operations Team Leader at CA Financial Appointments

Job Description

• Lovely stable investment company seeks an experienced Financial Operations Team Leader to join them and manage their finance operations team. Ideal candidates will have financial services experience, with previous exposure to financial controls in the LISP, Manco, Life and Retirement Funds space.  

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the team management and reporting to the Financial Manager
• Check bank recons and resolve complex queries 
• Check Manco unit recons
• Review product fees 
• Banking release authorisations
• New fund set-ups
• Assist with internal fund set-up queries
• Analyse PAYE recons and SARS submissions
• Assist with daily operational queries and audit processes

Requirements:

• Minimum of BComm Honours or similar qualification 
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within investment operations in the Manco or LISP space 
• Strong problem solving skills 
• Good understanding and working knowledge of systems, processes, data and products 
• Team player, with strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
