Financial Reporting Advisor (18 months Fixed Term Contract) at De Beers Group

Job Description:

As a Financial Reporting Advisor (18 months Fixed Term Contract) you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Preparation and/or review of complex accounting calculations and provide recommendations.
• Preparation and/or review of notes for our listed company’s consolidated annual financial statements.
• Preparation of annual financial statements for the main subsidiary and other entities within the group.
• Liaise with the external auditors.
• Review of lease agreements and prepare journal entries.
• Preparation of statutory pack for our minority shareholder (for interim and year-end reporting).
• Tagging of XBRL financial statements for CIPC submission.
• Provide advice on financial reporting issues and standards.
• Ensure alignment of financial transactions and reporting with relevant statutory requirements.

This role is in the Finance department at a Band 6 level reporting to Specialist Technical Accounting.

Qualifications:

• CA (SA)

Experience

• 5 years working experience, including articles.
• Demonstrated experience working within a team to deliver against set targets.
• Track record of meeting expectations.
• Experience in the mining industry will be advantageous.
