Fitter Assistant at Tshipi E Ntle Manganese Mining

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Assists in performing both planned and unscheduled mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Performs housekeeping tasks during and after completion of assigned work.
• Fits, inspects, tests and repairs equipment, and carries out all mechanical maintenance work in collaboration with the artisan.
• Assists with installation and commission of machinery and equipment.
• Aligns and calibrates machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation.
• Assists in achieving all maintenance, housekeeping and safety objectives and principles.
• Adheres to all safety and operational requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4,
• Higher Certificate / NQF level 5,
• Valid driver's license

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Semi-skilled
