    Foreman

    Job Purpose

    • To supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to project specifications and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and manage site workers, subcontractors, and daily construction activities.
    • Allocate tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
    • Ensure all work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to maintain workflow.
    • Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage.
    • Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements on site.
    • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Maintain site records including attendance, progress reports, and equipment logs.
    • Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly to avoid delays.
    • Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the work area.

    Requirements

    • Diploma or trade qualification in Construction/Civil Engineering preferred.
    • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a Foreman role.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety procedures, and site coordination.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
    • Good leadership and communication skills.
    • Experience managing multicultural workforces.
    • Familiarity with regional construction standards is an advantage.
