A 3 year tertiary qualification in either Finance, Accounting, Audit, Legal, Forensic Investigations or Information Technology
2 – 5 years relevant experience with supervisory experience advantageous
Membership of ICFP and / or ACFE recommended
Computer Proficiency, including MS Suite
Key Performance Areas
To execute and perform forensic investigations that are multidisciplinary (accounting / legal / investigative / information technology) which may include data mining/analyses of databases and systems within the jurisdiction of the City of Cape Town
To execute and perform proactive anticorruption awareness, prevention and detection programmes and strategies which may include fraud risk reviews, data mining/analyses of databases and systems within the jurisdiction of the City of Cape Town
To prepare and compile information/reports relating to forensic investigations/projects/governance reporting and/or other investigative matters
To ensure that departmental resources are efficiently, effectively and economically deployed to ensure optimal service delivery
